ig @kotanihouseBorn in Japan and raised in Hawai‘i, I’m a Japanese-Puerto Rican graphic designer and illustrator currently based in Seattle. My work spans branding, editorial design, packaging, web, (sometimes) animation, and print.

I find a lot of purpose in helping ideas come to life and enjoy collaborating with clients to shape those ideas into something tangible.
I work under the brand name Kotani House, in honor of my grandparents lifelong business, Kotani Antiques, I think it brings a little luck.

I’m interested in art, culture, and the small details that make things feel personal. Outside of design, I’m usually visiting new cafes, looking for new hair products to try, or somewhere waiting to go home and see my senior cat, Rosie.
